For my final project in art direction, I created a series of photographs. Through five volumes, I sought to depict an invisible phenomenon that became a burden during my five years of study: sensory overload. It is a state in which the brain, overwhelmed by a constant stream of stimuli (visual, auditory, or tactile), becomes saturated and can no longer process or prioritize information. Directly linked to my ADHD, I sought to make my feelings and sensations tangible by using light, textures, and various photographic techniques to create sensitive and personal narratives.
Project supervised by Clio Chaffardon of Studio Mirage.
